One of the most beloved authors of all time is commemorated each year in the Petoskey Area with an event surrounding his works and life. Now in its 15th year, the C.S. Lewis Festival celebrates the writer with activities for adults and children, too.
Though he died in 1964, C.S. Lewis books have never gone out of print. In fact, they’re still best sellers today. From Dymer, his first released story in 1926, to the last book released while he was still living, An Experiment in Criticism, Lewis was successful in his writings, which the public loved – but none were more endearing and enduring than The Chronicles of Narnia.
